Why do you resist resistance training? Sometimes you resist other things but this isn’t the place to talk about that.

Is it because you’re afraid you’ll get too big? Too muscular?

It’s a fact, most women want to burn fat and lose weight. I’ve only met a handful of women that are truly happy with their body. And not all of the happy ones are spending 2 hours a day, 7 days a week in the gym. If you want to know the truth, and I’m sure you do, you can have a killer hard body in just 20 minutes a day 4 days a week.

Stop Resisting Resistance

Resistance training is one of the three main components of a well balanced fitness regimen. It simply doesn’t matter if you can run 5 miles if you can’t carry a bag of groceries.

So stop worrying about looking muscular because it’s just not going to happen. There is no chance of you ending up looking like the Hulk because women lack the hormone testosterone, the hormone responsible for building muscle.

Tighten and Tone

Do I have your attention now? Isn’t that what you really want… tight flat abs, a firm tone butt, and nice well defined tone arms? If so, I have your answer. There’s several ways to reach these results, but kettlebell workouts are the best way.

Kettlebell training benefits every fiber of your body. It’s strengthens ligaments and tendons as well as build muscle and deliver massive cardio benefits. All you have to do is pick one up and swing it a few times and you’ll feel your heart rate increasing. And resistance training benefits everyone at any age.

Quit trying to firm up that butt and flatten that stomach by spending an hour a day on the treadmill. You’re paddling up river. And if you can’t get yourself off the treadmill, at least add some kettlebell training to your workout. You’ll convince yourself in no time.
